Do you struggle with the trauma of your birth? When birth doesn’t go to plan for us we can be left feeling that our bodies have failed us, or that we were out of control.
I am trained in trauma sensitive yoga and specialise in helping people with the process of trusting their bodies again. We can work together in a gentle way to begin in process from any parts of your birth or recovery, that felt traumatising.

“The 4 sessions we had, were some of the best times Marissa and I had to stop everything else in our lives and focus on upcoming birth – they really helped the two of us to connect.
Anna’s sessions gave us the chance to ask everything we wanted to without any self filtering.
All our previous experiences of hospital / doctors had been very much medical professional as expert telling us what would happen next. To understand that birth is not like this – there are lots of options, lots of different people you’ll meet in the hospital (from midwives to consultants) and that we should play an active role in choices was a big eye-opener for us. Anna was the only person who brought this to life for us so that we felt really prepared when it happened.
The breathing, positivity & relaxation techniques Anna taught us were invaluable. And the space she had given us to learn about the different routes to birth, helped us to feel calm and and have high quality conversations with the staff at the hospital.
In summary, if you’re having a baby, particularly your first, we’d highly recommend spending time with Anna to go through her course as it will make you much more ready than anything else we did in the run-up to due date.”
