But behind those statistics are real people who are exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure how to switch off. At Active Stillness, we believe that rest & self care aren't luxuries, they're essential.

We create gentle, trauma-informed spaces to help you tune back in, find safety in your body, and move forward with more ease.

About Active Stillness

I found yoga after becoming a mum and needing an exercise practice that was something I loved. Through yoga I found strength, support and a way to look after my wellbeing.

 

A few years later I deepened my knowledge & love of yoga completing my teacher training. I trained in trauma-informed yoga to help others find ways to support their wellbeing through yoga.

Active Stillness is here for anyone who feels stressed, anxious, or disconnected – offering gentle yoga, breath-work, and nervous system support that meets you where you are. No judgement, just inclusive spaces and support.

Restorative

We offer practices that invite calm, connection, and balance – without pressure to change or perform. It's not about fixing yourself; it's about listening to your body and responding to its needs with compassion and understanding.

Inclusive

Everyone is welcome here. Our approach is body-aware, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed. Come as you are. We listen with humility and a willingness to learn, holding space for all identities, experiences, and access needs.

Supportive

Whether you’re showing up tired, anxious, curious, or unsure – it’s all welcome. We meet you where you are, offering safety, care, gentle humour, and a non-judgemental space that honours your pace.
