Two of the main reasons for employees taking time off, is for mental health and musculo-skeletal conditions. This is the reason that more and more companies or organisations are focusing on employee wellbeing.

Active Stillness specialises in bringing movement and breath-work workshops to teams. Through movement and breath-work we can help teams learn ways to stay healthy at work and deal with the stress and anxiety of a busy work place or high pressured job.

We also specialise in programmes focused specially on “burnout” which is an issue we have seen a huge rise in, post pandemic. We work with teams to help them recognise the red flags of burn out and how we can being to establish healthy, mind and body practices to begin to heal.

Corporate yoga classes

According to Vitality’s annual Britain’s Healthiest Workplace study staff absences are estimated to cost employers over £90billion annually – although since that figure was pre-Covid, it’s clearly going to be even higher due to the pandemic.

Remote working, demanding jobs and a never-ending bombardment of information all contribute to becoming over stimulated and burning out.

Adding in a regular yoga class for staff creates a safe space for your people to pause and find space. More than that it builds a sense of community, and develops the ability to more effectively withstand the pressure and demands of the day-to-day.

1:1 Private tuition

My love of yoga started when my husband suggested that I should find a style of fitness that was a hobby rather than just a keep fit activity! I started practicing yoga and haven’t looked back!

I’m a qualified yoga instructor with a number of specialisms. This includes Yin yoga, Vinyasa, Aerial yoga (using yoga hammocks), in addition to my Trauma Sensitive, Pre-Natal and Hypnobirthing work.

I firmly believe that yoga is for all, regardless of age or physical ability.

Private sessions start off at £30 an hour.
